German well-known expert in motorsport, Winfried Matter came to China at the beginning of 2003. He worked in a responsible role to support the creation of the management concept of the Formula 1 track in Shanghai (SIC, Shanghai International Circuit).

More than 40 years of experience in motorsport encouraged him to leave Germany and establish a company in China - Matter Motorsport Consulting (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.

His aim is to transfer the experience gained with his own car-safety related companies in Germany, France and England to the Chinese market.

From his partnership with most manufacturers and suppliers worldwide, he sees many possibilities of passing on his knowledge to Chinese Industry, Organizations and the Government.

Matter International Consulting (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd. was founded in 2003 as an enterprise dealing with consultancy outside of motorsport.
